First ever post!


So much for 'instant blog site' - this has taken me hours!  Hours stolen from my quilting.  I'd much rather be at the FOQ this weekend, but due to recent surgery I'm trapped here at home.  I thought this 'down time' might be a good time to join the bloggers that I spend so much time reading.  I'm a bit hesitant about how much time it will consume - but that seems to be the consensus of nearly every blog I follow.  I hope to conquer technology and get some pictures posted of my current projects.  In the meantime, you can find some of my old projects at my folksy site here.

    I hope that you are recovering comfortably from your surgery! I'm sure that you'll catch on to posting and it will get much quicker. :) (You have some beautiful quilts up for sale!)

    Thank you so much, Sarah. Yes, full hysterectomy, it will take some recovering, but it hasn't been as bad as I imagined it might be. At least I have my sewing to keep me occupied until I can get back to my golf. Actually, it's nice not having to choose between the two.

    ooh I've been there on the hystericalectomy front, take it easy and DON'T lift stuff. Really they mean it!
